Wreaking Havoc

Last night, everyone in Cagayan de Oro and Iligan suffered the wrath of typhoon Sendong. As I am blogging right now, a lot of people are still on their roofs waiting for rescue and many parts of town have no water and electricity including our subdivision. I had to come here in SM just to browse the internet for some news.

Some of my friends are even affected by it and one of them has her family up  on the roof since early in the morning and it sucks how I cn't do anything about it because even rescuers have a hard time reaching their place. A lot of people have been reported missing or dead and I have no news yet from some of my friends. I truly do hope they're safe.

I've heard that the situation downtown is even much worse. I can't imagine our city being destroyed like this since we rarely experience typhoons and this one might be one of the worst in history. Please do pray for the safety of everyone.
