Hey Tuesday!

For a while now, I have been bookstore hopping, if there is such a term, just to find myself a really good but cheap book guide about the basics of sewing. When I went to the local bookstore today, I found this book by Martha Stewart entitled Encyclopedia of Sewing and Fabric Crafts and I wanted to cry right then and there.

Although still encased with its plastic covering, I desperately peeked through some of the pages, even if it meant tearing the plastic a little bit <guilty> and I thought this was just what I was looking for. It's a little heavy on the pocket though but I think it's justified with the content and thickness of the book. It was perfect.

I'll come back for you Martha.
It took a while of staring at Martha's book before I finally moved on to the other side of the store where the magazines were displayed. And to my surprise, the new issue of Ok! Magazine was already out! I've always made a habit of buying this magazine every month which is as close as I could get to the world of fashion.

October issue of Ok! Mag  with Kate Middleton as the cover.

This was prolly what got me more excited to buy the mag. Shoes!!
After drowning myself with books, I decided to treat myself with some finger lickin' goodness. I wanted to eat a whole meal, but decided to settle for some sandwich and fries to pass the time. Good thing I bought my lappy and the place had free Wifi so I got nothing to worry about.

Want some fries?

Check out this beaded bracelet I recently bought.

Pretty Ana Banana

Totally engrossed in reading my new mag, somebody approached and asked if she could join me. When I looked up, I realized it's Ana Marfori, a friend way back in college. I haven't seen and talked to this girl for centuries and...she curled her hair!! Still pretty ad fabulous though, I actually looked so 'yagit' walking beside her.haha

And although I originally planned to eat and stroll around on my own today, I couldn't have asked for a better companion. We laughed and talked about life and just everything under the sun. It's always nice catching up with friends after a long time.

So, how's Tuesday been treating you?

xoxo,
biang
